Refund Policy

Please read this Refund Policy carefully before purchasing any tickets through Weenuz. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms.

1. All Sales Are Final

All ticket sales made through Weenuz are final and non-refundable. Once a payment has been successfully processed, we do not offer refunds, exchanges, or credits under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Change of personal plans or schedule
  • Inability to attend due to personal reasons (illness, travel, emergencies, etc.)
  • Dissatisfaction with the event content or experience
  • Accidental or duplicate purchases - please verify your order before completing payment
  • Failure to redeem or use purchased tickets

2. Non-Transferable Tickets

Tickets purchased through Weenuz are non-transferable and may not be resold. Each ticket is issued to the purchaser's name and the details entered at the time of purchase. Weenuz reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone presenting a ticket that does not match their identification.

3. Event Cancellation by Organiser

In the rare event that an event is cancelled outrightby Weenuz or the event organiser, ticket holders will be notified via the email address provided at the time of purchase and will receive a full refund of the face value of their ticket(s). Service charges and third-party payment processing fees may be non-refundable depending on the payment processor's policy.

Refunds for cancelled events will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method used for the transaction.

4. Refund Processing Method

All approved refunds will be credited exclusively to the original payment method used at the time of purchase (i.e., the payment-initiated media). This means:

  • If you paid by credit or debit card, the refund will be returned to that same card.
  • If you paid via an online banking or mobile wallet channel supported by PayHere, the refund will be returned to that same channel.

We do not issue refunds via alternative channels such as cash, direct bank transfers, or any payment method other than the one originally used. The refund amount will reflect the ticket face value; any payment processing fees charged by the payment gateway may not be refundable.

5. Event Postponement or Rescheduling

If an event is postponed or rescheduled to a new date, your ticket(s) will remain valid for the new date. Refunds will not be issued for postponed events unless the new date falls outside a reasonable window (as determined solely by Weenuz) or the event is ultimately cancelled.

6. Duplicate Purchases

If you believe you have made a duplicate purchase, contact us at support@weenuz.lk within 24 hours of the transaction with proof of both purchases. Duplicate purchase claims are reviewed at our discretion, and we cannot guarantee a refund in all cases.

7. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting Weenuz is a violation of these terms. Doing so may result in permanent suspension of your account. All legitimate concerns should be directed to us before escalating to your financial institution.
